Competitive Team

USAG Levels 2-10

XCEL Bronze - Sapphire

Champion offers a variety of competitive team options designed to cater to different skill levels and goals. We adhere to USAG rules and regulations for our developmental, Junior Olympic, and XCEL teams. Our primary objective is to foster athletic ability, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through our competitive team programs, all within a safe, supportive, and positive environment. We believe that nurturing these qualities not only enhance athletic performance but also contributes to the personal growth of each athlete.

Pre-Cheer

The Pre Cheer program is composed of 3-6 year old athletes brand new to cheerleading. This is a great way to introduce the sport of cheerleading to young athletes. They wear a complete uniform just like the competitive teams and are absolutely precious when they perform. The coaches focus on teaching the athletes basic motor skills as well as cheerleading jumps, motions, and dance along with beginning tumbling and stunting skills.

This class will have an end of year performance.

Beginner Cheer

Our Beginner Cheer program requires commitment but is less intense than other competitive teams, with practices held once a week. This program is designed for athletes who are ready to start performing and showing off to a crowd! It emphasizes skill building and personal growth in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Evaluations are based on a rating system rather than competition rankings, and the teams will attend cheer competitions for evaluation purposes only. No prior experience is needed, making it a great introduction to cheerleading for young athletes.

Tuesdays at 6pm

Advanced Cheer

The Advanced Cheer program is designed for athletes ready to perform and showcase their skills to a crowd, while continuing to foster a love for cheer. The program emphasizes skill acquisition, teamwork, and personal growth in a low-pressure, fun environment. It serves as the perfect stepping stone for athletes aiming to join a more competitive cheer program or prepare for school cheer, while also being ideal for those who love cheerleading but may not have time to commit to a full season. This cheer squad will compete in local competitions.
