Owner and Coach
Jenn Ross Donnelly, a former level 10 collegiate gymnast and scholarship athlete at Auburn University. She was fortunate to train and compete in a positive, supportive environment under the late Teri Jenkins and Robert Dillard. As proud member of the Auburn Gymnastics Alumni Association, Jenn understands firsthand the lasting impact that great coaching, encouragement, and a strong team environment can have on a young athlete’s life.
Today, Jenn is a proud mother, the owner, and head coach of Champion Gymnastics & Cheer, where she is passionate about inspiring young athletes to believe in themselves, work hard, and pursue their dreams. She believes every athlete has the ability to thrive when surrounded by coaches who build confidence, leadership, resilience, character, and a genuine love for the sport.
Jenn takes a very hands-on approach to leading Champion. She is actively involved in the gym, coaching and working directly with athletes every day rather than simply managing the business from behind the scenes. She makes it a priority to know each child individually—their strengths, goals, personality, challenges, and areas for growth. Just as importantly, Jenn believes in knowing and building relationships with the families behind each athlete.
Her collegiate experience also continues to shape the way she coaches. Jenn maintains firsthand relationships and communication with college gymnastics coaches, allowing her to stay connected to the collegiate gymnastics community and better understand what programs are looking for in aspiring student-athletes. Combined with her own experience as a college gymnast, these relationships provide Champion athletes with valuable insight and guidance as they work toward their future goals.
Jenn believes the mission of Champion goes far beyond teaching gymnastics and cheerleading skills. We are not just developing athletes; we are helping shape confident, kind, responsible, and resilient young people. Through gymnastics, athletes learn the value of hard work, perseverance, discipline, teamwork, respect, accountability, and character—lessons that will stay with them throughout their lives.
At Champion Gymnastics & Cheer, we believe we are more than a gym—we are a family. Our goal is to create a welcoming, positive environment where every child feels known, supported, challenged, and celebrated. Whether an athlete is looking for a fun recreational experience or dreams of competing at the highest level, we want to help them reach their full potential while developing skills that will serve them far beyond the gym.
Jenn takes great pride in knowing the athletes and families at Champion and in creating an environment where children can grow both as athletes and as people. Her ultimate goal is for every athlete who walks through Champion’s doors to leave with greater confidence, stronger character, and the belief that they are capable of accomplishing more than they ever thought possible.
Jenn is a USAG-certified judge for Levels 1–5 and a member of USA Gymnastics (USAG), USA Gymnastics Safe Sport certified, USASF, and the Auburn Gymnastics Alumni Association.
